Cragg Folk

The Cragg Folk are surviving Neanderthals, living on the edge of our societies, trafficking with the modern world, and moving undetected among us. As a race they possess a predisposition to magical abilities, and while many of their own kind cannot perform magic, the most powerful among them are extraordinary wizards. Cragg Folk are neither good nor evil by nature, and while some tribes support Ominus-Sur’s vision for world dominance, others are indifferent or opposed to his goals. There are nine tribes in the Lost Lands, and one overarching elite fighting force which draws on all the tribes and their skills, the K’iin.
